This project involved clearing, slashing and creating access into the property, along with extensive lantana removal from cattle yards and around existing buildings and structures.
As the project photos show, sections of the property had become heavily overgrown, with dense lantana and vegetation restricting movement through the cattle yards, gateways, fence lines and surrounding areas. Before the site could be properly accessed and used, this growth needed to be carefully cleared back.
Using suitable earthmoving and vegetation-clearing equipment, overgrown areas were progressively opened up and unwanted vegetation removed. Particular attention was given to the cattle yards, where lantana had grown through and around fencing, gates and access points. Removing this growth made the yards far easier to navigate and exposed the existing infrastructure so it could be inspected, maintained and used again.
Slashing was also completed across larger open sections of the property to reduce long grass and heavy ground cover. This created a cleaner, more manageable site while improving visibility and access for vehicles, machinery and future property maintenance.
Creating reliable access was another important part of the project. Previously restricted areas were cleared and opened up, providing practical routes through gates, yards and across the property.
Lantana can spread quickly and become difficult to manage when left unchecked, particularly around fences, buildings and working areas. Mechanical clearing provides an effective way to regain control of heavily overgrown sections and prepare the property for ongoing maintenance.
The result was a significantly more open, accessible and manageable property, with clearer cattle yards, improved access and large areas of unwanted vegetation removed.
